"STUDENTS ARE GROWING UP ON A DIGITAL PLAYGROUND AND NO ONE IS ON RECESS DUTY."

Why should we tell our children to leave their phones where the grown up ones are addicted to them? So digital online learning will have the most impact on them?

I see the meaning of this quotes "STUDENTS ARE GROWING UP ON A DIGITAL PLAYGROUND AND NO ONE IS ON RECESS DUTY." This quote has a big meaning on this gene As The world we live in has altered as a result of technological advancements. The digital scene today is vastly different than it was when most educators began their professions. With the growth of mobile computers, broad involvement in social networks, and increased access to high-speed internet connections, we have seen a "triple revolution." Since we were young, the way we interacted with others and learned new things has changed. Education is no longer separate from online conduct. The majority of older children now have a portable computer in their pocket, and many receive one from their school.

5 reasons why digital learning is the future of education - World leading higher education information and services

Our schools must assist pupils in navigating this new environment. Social networking, YouTube, blogging, Snapchat, texting, and virtual reality games like Pokémon Go are sometimes dismissed as simply amusement. Some instructors continue to maintain a negative opinion of smartphones, and schools frequently prevent pupils from using them during the school day. Whether we like it or not, or whether we agree with it, the majority of Americans now own a smartphone. Our everyday lives, including education, family life, and employment, are all heavily reliant on mobile computers. Shop, bank, play, get breaking news, locate information, navigate, chat or text, and connect on social media and email via our phones.

At home in the new era of digital learning

Teachers, in my point of view, assist children in learning how to be courteous, kind, safe, and responsible. The most contemporary method to this learning, which many nations have begun to learn about, including the United States and Canada, is a PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support). Educators aren't simply teaching academic knowledge to pupils; they're also teaching and reinforcing attitudes and abilities that will help them succeed in the job and in higher education. Teachers must also undergo professional development and comprehend the value of digital citizenship, according to the Ministry of Education. Teachers cannot teach digital citizenship to their pupils if they do not grasp it themselves.
